Hair is made of protein. You need a healthy diet and lifestyle (I really believe stress will cause hair to thin and break.) Use a silk pillow case or scarf. (Cotton blends catch and pull at hair during the night.) I use Pantene, KeraCare, and Cholesterol products on my hair. I don't use the same products all the time...every now and then wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo that will get rid of buildup that causes your hair to look dull and limp. I wet set my hair and air dry most times, but when in a rush or during cold weather I sit under the hair dryer. I don't like to put a lot of heat on my hair. One thing that will snap your hair off quick is blowdrying and curling/straigtening irons.

Use and Oil massage.

Use light Olive oil or Coconut oil and warm it a up a little.Massage it onto your scalp.Leave it on for half and hour and then rinse.Shampoo with a mild shampoo ( i like Pantene)

Avalon is also good (herbal)

Then use a very good conditioner mask.Leave it on for 3 mins.Then rinse.

Someone also told me that applying mashed banana to your hair makes it soft.

i put baby oil on my hair, it makes my hair look shiny!!!!!! be careful to not put to much on your hair!!!!!!!!

I use Tresemme Anti-Breakage Shampoo and the conditioner, then when I get out of the shower, I put on the Dove Moisture Therapy spray. It's in a blue bottle. It keeps my hair really soft. I also use the Tresemme daily leave in conditioning spray, and then I blow dry my hair using a brush. It comes out really soft and shiny. I also don't wash my hair every day... I wash it every 2 days.

I love the Biolage line...its great and makes my hair feel wonderful......but i also never dye my hair and i hardly put any product in my hair (hairspray, straightening gel, ETC)

I get compliments on my hair every where i go, girls and guys love to run their fingers through it......oh and I change to a different shampoo and conditioner every time i run out and need more!!
