IT IS SO HARD TO SAY ONE BRAND OF PRODUCTS. THAT WILL DEPEND ON DAMAGE, COARSENESS, THINNESS, ETC. BUT I DO SUGGEST THAT YOU GO NATURAL. I GREW 7 INCHES OVER THE SUMMER (MAY-AUG). BUT IF YOU CAN NOT GO NATURAL TRY TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THE PRODUCTS THAT YOU USE.. I WILL GIVE YOU A WEB SITE FOR NATURAL AND CHEMICAL STYLES THAT WILL GROW YOUR HAIR....

Me too. I had a Nia Long (The Best Man) short cut hairstyle, but I have grown it to my chin so far (It's uneven though, in the back it's to the bottom of my neck but I refuse to cut anything again except for split ends). I want to grow it shoulder length and beyond. I been washing my scalp and hair every two weeks. I only shampoo once and I massage my scalp %26amp; develop a rich white lather and let it sit for about three minutes and then rinse it out. I follow that with deep conditioning (I don't use a leave-in). I use a root stimulator hair oil three times a week (I don't use grease...too clogging for scalp pores). I trim my hair 1/4-1/2 inch every two months. By this time next year, I think I'll have reached my goal. Also, I don't perm my hair, and I use a flat iron every two weeks or once a week with a heat damage prevention product. I have a friend who uses Mane N Tail products and Motions products too and she has hair down her back. You have to do a lot of research online about products (are 95-100% of their customers satisfied, how many people have complained or asked for a refund) and research when you are out asking people with long healthy hair what they've used and what kind of hair care routine did they follow (some people wrap hair every night, others may braid hair every other month...)--then decide what is best for you.
