well heathy shiny hair takes work.. and some good hair product that is why everyone wants it so much.. .deep conditioner there is a difference between deep conditioner and regular conditioner... k pac is a good deep conditioner.. also need to be putting products in your hair before blowing it out and flat ironing it.. Get some paul mitchell super skinny. that will make it shiny and silky and super soft. don't go overboard putting it in.

it's an amount of experimenting with different shampoos. i use garnier fructis. it works very well.

try not to straighten it EVERYDAY but if you must when your condition it keep the conditioner in for a few minutes then go through your hair with your fingers then wash it off this makes it smoother. drinking lots of water also helps your hair AND its good for you!! so its all good lol but try asking your local hairdresser for more expert advice next time your get a trimm or cut! :) i hope i helped enough xx

Hmm, tricky question. You will need pantene pro v ice shine shampoo and conditioner. Do everything the bottle says, the directions. Before you Straighten your hair, try buying a heat defence spray (What ever you do, dont spray the top of your hair, only the ends) defence spray makes your hair shiny and more alive, also, it pretects. After your done, it should look more healthy. Also, try eating more fruit and veg, more heathier glow in your hair and you.

My first question would be - do you wash your hair every day?

Surprisingly enough this affects your hair greatly, I wouldn't do it. You're most likely getting rid of the natural oils in your hair by doing this.

Wash it every other day. For instance I wash it sunday night then wash it again tuesday night. This is another tip - wash your hair the night before and straighten it in the morning, leaving a gap between its treatment.

If you straighten your hair one day (for instance monday morning) then it will still be straight the next day (tues) until you wash it again.

My next suggestion would be to use a salon approved shampoo. I use nikki Clark and (without boasting too much) my hair is always silky. I don't blow dry my hair...

Remember to always use heat protection spray! Otherwise your hair can be seriously damaged!

Hope this helps x

Conditioning and trimming every 6 weeks is very important

Go to the vitamin shoppe and get the vitamin labeled hair, skin and nails or just hair and skin. Then go to ulta or someplace that sells the expensive hair products and get Redkin Smooth down Butter treat and smooth down heat glide serum. also get sebastion lamitates flexable concetrate gel. you're hair will feel so much better. use the gel and serum before you blow dry and straighen your hair. and use the butter treat after you condition-leave it in your hair for a few minutes then rinse out. your hair will feel so smooth.

i am in the same sort of situation, i straighten my hair a lot but mainly my fringe if im tying it back. if you can, invest in some good straighteners like GHDS, i find that the morning after your hair only needs a brush and it still looks straight so you can give your hair a break once in a while. i'd go for things like "lee stafford poker straight hair shampoo" it will help keep your hair in a nice condition and also says that it protects against heat damage from straighteners up to 250 degrees! There are also tressame sprays, lee stafford, and toni and guy sprays that you can put in your hair just before you straighten but dont over load it with products! deep conditioning is a good idea too, the leave in conditioners are good too and then you rinse it off after 4 to 5 minutes. try blow drying your hair straight too. I love my straightened hair and i am really scared of my hair drying out but try just tying it up once in a while for an "au natural" look :) speak to your hairdresser too, some shampoos and conditoners from your hairdresser can be a bit pricy but they will work really well! hope i could help!
