i have heard that babies should get their hair shave a lot of time to get healthy hair i was curious about that bcs i shaved my daughter just once since she born. i like her long hair. she is just 14 months old now.should i get her hair shave off.?

That is so wrong to do. Their hair is healthy from the day it was made. Leave that poor child's hair alone. I've heard of trimming their bangs but that is it. Please seek the attention of your child's doctor or someone who knows this weird thing you're doing to your child to help you to understand that what you're doing is unnecessary.

i dont agree with calling you crazy for asking our oppinion. i would not shave her hair. my daughter is 15 and has a full head of thick black hair and i never shaved it when she was a baby. i did keep it trimmed up so that it was "healthy" but other than that i just washed it and used conditioner and put it up in cute ties. just be careful of the "old wives tales" that you listen to some are well past the times. her hair will be just fine. and she will be beautiful

I have actually done a little research on this b/c a friend of ours shaved their childrens head when they were babies. all girls. We found out it does not have any affect on how it grows back but started as a tradition in some cultures
