Going darker is a great suggestion! Or just as close as possible to your natural color, lay off hair dye for at least 6 months. Also, use a deep conditioner with a lot of protein. Use stuff that claims to make hair Stonger not just softer. And get the big bottle of CHI silk infusion. Its less than 20 bucks and worth every penny.

As a stylist, I see fried hair all the time. And I have something to help! Although it is a tad pricey, but hey, your hair won't be knappy. Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner and Redken Extreme "Rescue Force" treatment. Get some. I had a girl lie about having bleach on her hair because she wanted it permed so bad and her hair was dead, but that brought it back and put it on track to being healthy again!

completely stop the processing....first.
It CAN be repaired in as short as 30 days as much as 50%....but the biggest and most thorough change comes between 90 and 180 days.
You must invest in a dynamite DEEP condtioner...and take up the SLUMBER conditioner....method of sleeping with it in one night per week....if the hair is horrible......one night I would use my "OIL ATTACk".....Organic Sesame oil mixed with 1 Teaspoon of Rosemary E/O and 1 Teas. of Lavender essential oil. Apply to hair massaging in the ends and lengths. not on the scalp. There is nothing more revitalizing for your hair than NATURAL Carrier Oils. Just you wait and see.
But do the same process.... apply oil and sleep with it in hair overnight....in the AM shampoo, Rinse and style.....
You must be gentle and start treating your hair like it is a 2 month old baby. BABY IT. Do not over shampoo, throw away the flat iron for now.
i have another 10 steps if you are truly intertested in them all....go ahead and email me.
