I have these red highlights in my hair and i don't really like them i think they look a little

They don't really match my eyebrows. I have already spent like 160.00 on getting my hair done and i feel guilty if i spend more money except that i don't know if i can live with these highlights. I am thinking i should have stuck to something more natural. I feel bad going back to the same hairdresser cause at first i liked it. She said the red is not permanent. Its just these stupid highlights this chick did that i don't like? Should i just go dark brown? Should i call around to different salons? I have very healthy hair right now so i know my hair can take the process. What do u think?

I would just cover them with brown if you don't like them, if you try blonde it may turn pink. She is right on red highlights not being permanent, that color washes out quicker than any other. I would say, for the sake of your hair just deal with them, but if you really cant stand it just do brown until you're ready to lighten up again,

the main reason they look fake is because they are, natural is always better, color in a bottle always looks better than after applied. Prime example is Michael J.

Go to a beauty supply house and find a non-permanent rinse to hide the red highlights if you don't like them. Most hair colors now looks fake anyway and it is the trend. You can use a dark blonde shade to remove the red and also get a drabber that will take the red part out. Do not use anything darker than blonde because it will make it almost black looking. (If you go back to your hair stylist, and complain a lot, they may do it again for free). Just a little tip. Another tip: Your eyebrows don't need to match your hair. Just use a brush eyebrow liner instead of pencil to look more natural.

If you really dont like it, why not get a dye kit and do it yourself, and if you dont trust yourself to do a good job get someone to help. This way, you dont offend the person who did your hair to start with and you dont have to live with those dreadful red highlights. However, i would go with a safe color like dark brown as you suggested b/c blonde and red can be difficult to distribute evenly through your hair.

if you were looking for something natural, red was not the way to go. Red streaks in anyones hair does not look natural! brown would be a more natual look!
