Growing hair?

I had my hair streaked/dyed in february the colour was like light brown and my natural hair colour has grown back like 9/10cm long (its dark brown) so now my hairs n quite a mess! the fringe is ok cause i have side bangs and its all dark brown and looking healthy but the light brown in the rest of the hair is quite damaged.

I dont want to dye over it again just any ideas how i can grow back healthy hair abit faster? and get all that dye out!

Growing hair?

Hi there,

Cut about an inch off your hair, and use an intense protein treatment once a week. You can also use an ammonia free semi permanent colour which wont really damage your hair, if anything, it wll put life back into it (but make sure if you decide to do this, colour it first and then have it cut, as the hairdresser will usually take an inch or 2 off anyway, and you should always have a chemical trim after every permanent colour application)

The most important thing to remember is treatments. You can buy a intense protein treatment and this works by reconstructing the hair on the inside, and then the outside. You can also use in conjuction with this a moisture treatment will replace the moisture lost from sun damages and colouring and so forth. The moisture will also make the hair feel alot more softer and manageable as the protein treatment won't.

Hope you work it out lovey!

you could cut off the dyed hair and put extensions to your own, but there's nothing that would really make your hair grow faster or you could dye the hair to your own colour

Growing hair?

well i had the same thing my natural hair was light brown and i put blonde foils in it and obviously i had re-growth and i wanted my natural hair back so instead of waiting so long of embarrassment i got a dye wash out that washes out in 30 days. i dyed it a dark brown its actually really good and the foils are now slowly growing out and now i like it dark brown. well that's the best advice i can give, its a good cover up :) well good luck you can also use shampoo's and conditioner that contain aloe vera in them to help it grow out...

Pay attention. Hair grows about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in a month. It'll take a while to grow out. Wait...there's hope. The color can be removed. I'm not talking about totally blonde or anything but you can have it removed and then have a color like your natural put back in. I would also suggest a quick trim to get rid of any dried out splitting tips. It reduces frizz. This way your hair can grow and you wont be able to see that scary line of new growth. Wish you the best.

First your hair color will have to grow out. i do not recommend to re-color it.

Second to promote hair growth your hair needs two things. Adding moisture, and scalp message.

You need a hair oil/hair creme/hair dressing that contains natural herbs, vitamins.

Using the balls of your fingers message your scalp while using the hair oil.

This will help the blood to circulate which stimulates the hair follicles which promotes hair growth.

Do this at least three times a week.
