Is streaks healthy for your hair?

My hair color is kinda normal (boring) but i really want it to stand out like be VERY different=) but i'm scared cuz i heard hair dye will kill your hair to the point that it will never grown back and i'm afraid to take a chance so i just want to know is streaks as bad as hair dye

"streaks" are normally done with bleach. It is not good for your hair but it seems that more and more people are having them done. As long as you don't over process your hair you should be fine. I recommend going to your stylist and having it done professionally. This way its more even and you can get them where you want them.

As long as you don't over abuse hair coloring, it's safe. Make sure you use conditioner on your hair to keep it from drying out.
